Is This A Practice Standard? by highoctane(op): 8:00am On Jun 27, 2024
Please doctors in the house especially Optometrists and Pharmacists.
Can you clarify if this is an international established standard or in house medical practice?.
For example some eyes drop medication prescription like
1: Crojpt to expire by 4/09/2025. eq of Xalatan
2: Latanoprost to expire 09/2024. Non preservatives
3: Aqua tears to expire 10/2025.
I was informed by my optometrist that these drugs will expire after 30days upon opening them for use, whereby I will come for another refill.
What re the rational for this medical suggestion?.
