The Music talks about a married Soldier who got an emmergency call {early in the morning} about an urgent mission.
Since his wife was still sleeping, he left for the urgent mission leaving a letter to his wife. In the letter, he made it clear to his wife that he might not come back home. But no matter what happens, she is his Next Of Kin.
In verse 3, he asked his wife to take care of herself, their kids and also their unborn child. This means that they are expecting a baby.
