Unit of electricity was reviewed downward from 222 naira per kilowatt to 206 naira per kilowatt over three months now as I read on news but to my utter shock eedc has been charging 225naira per kilowatts since then. I recharged 20000 naira and got 88.8units this morning and this is exactly what I have been getting since the band A wahala. I went to eedc office to lodge a complaint thinking this only affects me but was told critically by their consumers complain unit that 225naira is eedc official rate. So my question is what is NERC function. Why such impunity and why is no body complaining in this region. |
