Few weeks ago, Labour was agitating for a new minimum wage even going to the extent of shutting down the national grid. ....but up until now, it seems the talk has died down and the matter seems forgotten. Have the labour leaders been bribed as usual? Well it does not surprise me. This is Nigeria.... Nigeria we hail thee. |

but you already know how much they will pay, it definitely would be between 60-80k max. and besides minimum wage doesn't really affect everyone most especially those in private sector. |

Shutting down the national grid was a big mistake made by Labour Union |

Labour union is actively and covertly working with Tinubu government to ensure Nigerian youths don't rise up in massive protests against the government to cause a revolution and death to those elected thieves like happened in Kenya. When they sense the anger of people is rising, they'll send labour to organise a fake protest. Labour will declare 1 or 2 days strike... make noise on television, collect their bribe then call of the strike....the one or two days strike helps calm the people down a little, people who would otherwise be slaving away their time looking for their daily bread. So, don't expect anything from labour. Labour union is now compromised. Even Peter Obi is secretly working for Tinubu to split PDP block vote in the south east and south south. In the grand scheme, Peter Obi can never win presidential election in Nigeria. Meanwhile he's too chicken livered to stand fully with ordinary Nigerians to challenge the government cos he's weak and fears for his life more than he fears for the lives of millions of Nigerians who die on a daily basis due to state capture and massive corruption of elected criminals in government. It makes me wonder, is there any hope for Nigeria? |

LandMann:You are really not ok, honestly. For you to say that Obi is weak and fears for his life. You must be from another archaic and mundane planet. |

Obainoman6:you are wrong a good minimum wage affects the economy positively both private and public ,an enhanced wage means higher purchasing power which will reduce unsold stocks in private company ,the growth will translate to better pay for the private sector employees |
