There's no logical explanation to the alleged herdsmen killings in Benue.

There's been genocidal scale murders in Benue,south Kaduna and plateau for the last ten years atleast.

The occurrence in Benue is beyond believable especially now that it just passes by hardly making the news.

It's beyond the scale of deaths even in pitched warfare.

At this point only the people of Benue can truly explain what goes on in that state.Cos it's unbelievable that no case is brought forward by concerned indigenes about the happenings in Benue.

I just can't figure out the silence with that level of deaths, aren't there people from such villages who are a bit prominent?

The silence of Benue people especially the TIV is suspect.

Benue people are becoming endangered species even their new apc governor seems to be also clueless like ortom on how to stop the endless genocide.

It's a mystery, even MANNABBQGRILL alias Eriggs who is a Tiv will avoid stories and threads on Benue killings here but will insult Igbos for seeking the release of Nnamdi Kanu with cruel pictures of soldiers dehumanising Igbo youths in mud water.

Like the Benue state governor mentioned that Benue indigenes are collaborating with Fulani militia to attack their people this is the opposite with South East and South South where attacks are taken seriously by putting governors on their toes and it takes the intervention of compromised Nigeria security agents preventing the people from going after the Fulani perpetrators.

It more or less of like a kind of retaliatory killing, it among the warlord in sankera axis of Benue state ( GANA boy's) it not all the killing that is from fullani herdsmen.

You are 💯 % correct. But what do you think is the reason the Idoma's have been free from their troubles?? They fought with Igala crossing Idoma, Gbagyi in Nasarawa, so could be the reason the Idoma are free from their troubles.

I gave up on Tiv and Middlebelt in 2015 when they rallied around Buharim a Fulani. I warned many of the impending genocide if Buhari won but they scoffed. Most African tribes lack strategic intelligence.

The banditry in Benue is perpetrated by its own citizens especially the tivs, since the notorious gana was killed his boys split into different groups and have been terrorizing a part of the state.
But a part of the state is also victim of herdsmen violence which is also grave

The killing in Benue state is a very complex problem, you can't easily solve it. Most prominent TIV's people are just afraid to speak up that's all. Not all killing are being perpetrated by the herdsmen, but by local militias, and from neighboring taraba state. If you also notice, 80% of those killings happened in just one local government, and one particular town. But there are still high presence of Fulani herdsmen in Benue state though, especially in Agatu areas, those ones come from neighboring Nasarawa state, through the river Benue. But you don't hear more about the Agatu cases anymore, because Agatu youths are really also standing up to them.
