So I met these scammers yesterday.
This is how it all started.

Waking up motivated on a promising Sunday, my phone rang. The "rema and Selena Gomez calm down" ringtone always give me that heavenly feeling.
I looked at the call and it was my mother's number. "hello mummy good morning". Initiated the first Convo expecting to hear the sweet voice of my mother, but that was not the case.

"Wainey, go to my house, I received a call that the tenants were fighting yesterday, go and check what happened" #kpulum#. The sound of my father dropping the call just killed my day.
Many questions ran through my mind, why would this man call me with his wife's phone and how come he didn't care to know if my schedule is tight for the day. I really can't ask him such question to his face cos I don't want anyone telling me how they paid my school fees and fed me for years without me contributing a fraction.

I got up and dressed my bed and took a bus to choba portharcourt.
The driver stopped at his usual spot, and shouted "Oya everyone, na our last bustop be this"? We all highlighted from the bus. Just at that spot, a guy called out to me. "Boss man, e get one opportunity weh I wan show u"

I kept walking, with my earpiece on, listening to family affair.
Oga na u I deh call na, I looked back and he beckoned to me, there were two more guys with him, I walked up to them and he started explaining the "try ur luck programme to the two of us".
He told us we will stake 1k and if we win, we will get 2k, I had like 7k in my wallet, In my mind I was like, Omoh see better two odds weh pH boy wan collect.
After his not so long explanation, the first two had to stake 1k each and play, they both failed, I was shocked cos the game was too easy yet they lost 1k each. They gave him the 1k and I quickly noticed those 1k were counterfeit but I didn't say a word.
It was my turn and I won the game, he asked me to give him 1k and collect 2k, but I told him no, he should rather give me 1k and keep the other 1k, no need of me giving him money.
Immediately the other two got angry at me that I am wasting time. I told them it's simple arithmetics, give me only 1k instead of 2k, the owner of the game tried getting feral and told me to leave if I do not want to play.
I tried to shake their hands so I could leave, but they refused, that was when I knew the three of them were part of the scam, I put back my earpiece and "Louis fonzi Despacito" was playing. I just walker comot.
