Nigeria – “NAIJAAAH”, I am sure so many of you non-Nigerians are familiar with this pseudonym by now except of course if you are from Mars. Britain – Britico, the boy na Britico that is why dem no deport am now! American –Yankee, I no no say u dey Yankee! South Africa – Southy! The boy dey for Southy now! Jamican – Ireke in the good olden days during my father’s generation but today they are called “ Jamo” Germany – Jar-ma-ni, I dey go Jar-ma-ni, I wan go buy car. Ireland- Irish, your wife na Niaja or Irish, she be Irish now  Black American- Akata, dat your babe, she be Akata, abi be she be Naija, Yes, she be Akata! Hausa man – ‘Malo’ una get malo for this una area, I wan chop suya! Igbo Man – ‘Okoro’ okoro plenty for this una neighbourhood! Yoruba Man – “Yoruba-Yoruba” all these Yoruba sef, just dey yan like say na dem papa house dem dey”! Ghanaian – ‘Ganaah’, that boy be Ganaah OR "Charlie" a slang use by a lot of Ghanians Chinese – Chinko, I wan chop chinko today!  Somalian- ‘Somaah’ the gril na Somaah now! Jand- London, I dey go Jand tomorrow! Lagos - Gidi or Las Gidi – the boy don go back to gidi Seirra Leone – “ Saro” Lebenese or Syrian – “Oyinbo Kora” or just Kora which literally means “Koranic Oyinbo” (obviously ‘Oyinbo’ being a white man) |

Sarcoc: What does ofe mmanu mean? I know igbos say Yoruba people but haven't heard ofe mmanu b4, Igbo-usually omo-Igbo or omo-nna hausa-aboki or mala (mallam) ghana-either gaana or kofi meme people Ghana usually call Nigerians Anago people, I don't know what that means. |
