Obasanjo Left Legacy Of Corruption, Electoral Fraud – Tinubu Tinubu told journalists at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, that Obasanjo should "retire in shame politically." The Action Congress of Nigeria leader was reacting to comments reportedly made by Obasanjo over ACN’s allegation of scientific rigging in Kogi State by the Peoples Democratic Party. Tinubu said, "What integrity has Obasanjo in terms of the legacy he has for Nigeria to speak on elections? The only election that was clear in this country was when we started the Fourth Republic. "Every one of us knows that. They got rid of Abel Guobadia, Iwu. The worst legacy in electoral practice was led by Obasanjo. "He has no reason whatsoever and he has no audacity to talk about free and fair election in this country apart from his aborted third term election. "He brought about and left a legacy of electoral corruption in the country to the extent that his successor had to set up the Justice Mohamemd Uwais panel, but instead of implementing Uwais’ report comprehensively and improve on the elections, they stage- managed and side-tracked that report. They implemented only one or two items. "What is Obasanjo talking about? He should go away and retire in shame politically because he brought a whole salad of corruption, manipulation and failure." Tinubu said his party would contest PDP’s victory in Kogi State in court. Source www.punchng.com/index.php/news/item/7267-obasanjo-left-legacy-of-corruption-electoral-fraud-–tinubu |

Tinubu should go and sit down. Compare to Obj, Tinubu is a common criminal. At least Obj broke the hausa/fulanu born to rule mentality. Something Tinubu and his Tambuwal alliance is striving to force back on us. |

^^^ That is not far from the truth. Did Yar Adua not collapse and faint during the campaign? What did Obj do? Sell him even more aggressively! In any case given a gun will one bullet! I will line up Tinubu and Obj, taking care to ensure Tinubu is in the front before firing at Point Blank range for maximum exit wound. |

sheyguy: keep dreaming - dont you mean he transferred 30 billion dollars of nigeria's foreign reserves into the hands of the paris club criminals, implemented more SAP policies on behalf of his masters in washington and london, privatised nigeria's public sector which created more unemployment, privatised most of nigeria's assets and sold them at rock bottom prices to western companies and his corrupt friends and devalued the naira plunging nigerians into even more misery and poverty - is that your idea of a better economy? |
