How do you change a system?

Often times we want to change a system from the outside. But to truly make significant change to a system, we have to become a part of the system.

There's a limit to the change that can be effected externally. Primarily because an outsider will always be perceived as one and will be limited in the information he has of the system.

One who has become a part of the system however will be seen and accepted as an insider. At such he will have access to information, personalities and even power/authority that an outsider does not enjoy.

It is important to become a part of the system but it is also imperative to understand that the system we intend to change has a high tendency and power to change us, for better or for worse. While we should be open to certain changes, we must however know and stay true to who we are ànd why we are in the system.

This is a call to become participatory in changing the course of our religious systems, political systems, social system etc. Let's become active players in the matters that matter. And do help us God.
