They were commiting crimes in Nigeria before they left. In recent times it has become part of our culture .... to outsmart the system ... to outsmart someone for personal gain.... the rich and poor wouldn't miss an opportunity to enrich himself ... this is normal.... no consequences .... adoration by the masses. When these people go abroad .... not used to working .... but enjoying a certain lifestyle... why wouldn't they continue to commit crime but not think of consequences? Most are surprised they are caught and even more surprised that they can't bribe their way out.

Yoruba and Igbo disgracing Nigeria for abroad anyhow.

Why do Chinese scammers move to the US, UK, and Canada, and continue scamming? Why do Chinese gangs engage in all kinds of organized crime in China and then in the UK, US, and Canada when they move there? Why do Indians, Russians, and Italians do the same?

Reasons:
- They want to live like a rich person with none of the work or patience.
- They really think they can get away with it.
- They only made so much money back home, but abroad they can be actually rich from it.
- They don't fear prison.
- They've spent so much of their life doing the wrong thing that they feel they can't change.
- They make more money in a week than the average person makes in a year, and they're addicted to the money.
- They somehow don't believe they can have a nice life doing the right things.
- They're scared that if they walk away, the gang will come after them or family.
- They tried to start legit business with the dirty money, but failed and gave up.
- They like the "thrill" of crime and the criminal lifestyle.
- They've lived a hard life, and they've been hardened by it. So they don't care.

Shellipopy and Co are hyping this rubbish so what do you expect this whites believe we in Nigeria love what the few fraudsters are doing, so as a Nigerian in diaspora you can be framed easily for any crime and other nationals are overlooked, our media houses and yeye content creators are not helping matters too

You were not cleared because you were black or racism? You were cleared because you were probably a first time offender. They wont spare you if you were a repeat offender whether you are black, white , green or blue.

Some will still commit crimes definitely. Because in Nigeria, we pray for huge blessings without having anything doing. We believe so much in miracles, u realistic dreams and worship the rich, irrespective of how they got the wealth. Just look at the state of the country and our mentality, you will understand it will be difficult for Nigeria to develop.
The same abnormal mentality will definitely be exhibit by some Nigerians that have relocated to other countries, hoping to make it fast and big without working on any project/invention/business idea. Crime will set in.

Because you should know no society is crime free, that's why they have police everywhere.

This is because a vast majority of Nigerians are bad people, when I say our problem is not just leadership but a people problem they think I am excusing our leaders.

Romance scams are rampant in Nigeria but is prosecutable abroad.

Whites do it too by the way.

I beg to disagree, the problem in Nigeria is insecurity. Not insecurity of lives and property but inseurity of what will happen tomorrow, so they are stealing for tomorrow not because of bills. If income is certain most people won't venture into politics.

Criminality is ingrained into some people's culture and soul and their understanding of hard work is not a honest day's work but commiting criminality.

The irony here is a vast majority of these specific people will make excuses and even defend their fellow tribesman when arrested in Nigeria for one crime or the other by citing the Nigerian economic downturn and systematic rot in the system but these same idiots will still venture into crime in countries with better economic prospects and oppurtunities.

The racism was perceived from the white officer and not the judge who cleared me.

I didn't commit any crime.... A black dude driving to school and was pulled over by an officer who assumed I was running 50 on a 30.

I didn't pay any dime as the judge cleared me..
