I read in one of these national dailies that our IG is planning to withdraw his men from the Bank's bullion vans. This I read is due to the incessant killing of the police by arm robbers and has instructed the banks to acquire bullion vans that are bomb, fire and bullet proof instead of going to car dealers to buy anyhow pick up vans.

He also emphasied that in Foreign countries, banks employ private securities companies and not their Police.
