@ porter you are making a king size error. its irrelevant cos the antichrist CANNOT erase that name no matter what he does even the antichrists on this forum failed as much as they tried. no matter the way you spell it JESUS REMAINS LORD over all! He was, is and will forever be.

OMG!! when will some Christians start learning the meaning of "Christ"  grin

Christ is the English term for the Greek Khristos meaning "the anointed one". It is a translation of the Hebrew (Masiaḥ), usually transliterated into English as Messiah or Mashiach. In popular modern usage the term usually refers explicitly to Jesus of Nazareth or more appropriately "The Messiah Jesus"

Christ is no way related to Christmas any more than a Patriot is related to an ACN Politician  grin (My Political fiends better not see this)

The Origins of Christmas was from Pagan Roman religion because around the time of the winter solstice, Romans observed Juvenalia, a feast honoring the children of Rome. In addition, members of the upper classes often celebrated the birthday of Mithra, the god of the unconquerable sun, on December 25. It was believed that Mithra, an infant god, was born of a rock. For some Romans, Mithra's birthday was the most sacred day of the year.

The only Religious holiday Christians marked in the early days was Easter and this was held in the highest regards. Yes we know Christians are not really worshiping the Roman Sun God when they celebrate Christmas, it is just odd that Santa-Claus has more presence than Jesus "Christ" and all the other bearings of the pagan Christmas celebration are an exact copy of what Christians celebrate today - what a wild coincidence - or is it??

For your own good Christians. stop celebrating Christmas as a the birth of Jesus Christ. it is not. We all know that pagans, witches, seculars, and Satanist all celebrate Christmas. They’ve been doing so for many years, way before the birth of Christ. We can see on Jeremiah 10:3 that this custom was practiced during Jeremiah’s times throughout the Old Testament, way before the birth of Christ. Jeremiah 10:3 describes in detail the custom of the so called “Christmas tree.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. (Jeremiah 10:3 KJV)
