Most churches in Nigeria promoting the teachings of the bible tell the followers to give to the less privilaged. In other words, those who have excess should help those who have less, but these churches have suprisenly become institutions that do the opposite by using the same name of God to extract money from the poor congregation to sustain the already made rich pastors. Nowadays the church is where the poor gives to the rich.
What really went wrong?

Some Nigerians are silly. Sometimes I don't blame the pastors, cos they're just doing business. My problem though is the fact they are using the name of God to deceive the poor people. Then again, no one is forcing them to attend such churches or listen to those god of men.

Nigerians are corrupt at heart.

Fools part easily with their money because they never worked for it in the first place.
If anyone reaaaaaaaaaaaally sweated for their income. . . 10% in the bank for retirement or savings. . . is the best tithe anyone can pay. Mos-def not to some ugly apparition of a dense pastor or bishop!
