What you're saying is like asking which is better for curing malaria, charcoal or sand? While its likely that one is better than the other, the point is moot because both of them are basically useless.

And both the bible and the koran can be massaged into supporting practically anything. They can both be interpreted any way you want depending on your imagination and whatever preconcieved ideas you have about them. If you think the bible supports the koran, its only because you have chosen to see it that way.

Some people believe the koran is the most noble book ever written, while others believe that it supports mindless violence, mistreatment of women, and child molestation. And both groups of people are right in a way, because religious books are all things to all people.

Changing you way from disbelief to absolute belief in Oneness of God through Islamic monotheism is your salvation because your sins are turned to good deeds and you are sinless when you become muslim at the time you finish declaring your reversion.

If you are a christian or jew before, you gain double rewards and starts from positive, instead of just zero, zero, the point the others will start from when they enter Islam.


Your salvation is Monotheism in Islam. It is your rebirth, if you will your born again.

I dey laugh. You are betraying your roots. The average Christian divorced from Islam does not know what the terms bolded above mean and will not use them in routine conversation. The question the OP needs to answer is what is in the Bible that is making him/her lose faith in it. Once that is anawered the problem is half-solved.

Let me breakdown the problems of the OP.

1. He was a christian by birth or a convert. But let me use the term "babe in the lord".
2. He also wishes to know the truth about the various religions and God (He already acknowleges there is a God, but does not know the way to that God).
3. He is yet to receive baptism of the holy spirit - so does not really understand the truth (his human guide was a fluke).
4. Was in conflict with the way RELIGION IS PRACTICED (And wants to know the reason why this is, and that is so)
5. His pastor failed him because he does not posses the knowlege expected, and was defeated by a muslim.
6. He is afraid of going to hell, and his pastor seems confused.
7. Studying many religious books at the same time is a very difficult thing for a convert.
8. He is naturally full of questions. It is not everyone that is dogmatic, and easily controlled, by church doctrines.

Notes: A growing christian always expect much from the "Evangelist/Pastor/Holy man", but even my own pastors have failed me in the same way as the OP. It was through the holy spirit that i got guidiance because in the actual sense - i am tired of the way the christian religion is being managed (just that it is not an easy thing not to identify with them). There is no such thing as a freelancer christian or an individual christian. You need fellowship to grow, and fellowship with the right people - and not unholy gatherings - which will bring damnation.
