Maybe from burn when you were young. Surgery (plastic) can fix it. If I were you no need to worry about it if not hurt or painful. You may have irritated it by rubbing or scratching it.

My own started like an acne in 2016/2017 it's exactly like your own( middle chest). It doesn't itch or cause pain. Antibiotics may cure it if it still young. GO TO A GOOD HOSPITAL.

Looks like keloid to me. If it is, cryosurgery may be your best bet.

It can never go. I've had one vewi tiny one like that,almost like small pimple,then I no get clipper.i picked it up from a barbers shop,e go dry tomorrow,e go black next month,I dey see hair inside and it seems it's an ingrown stuff. I just leave am like that.but keloid no get cure and tours don turn to big one.inyama

That is not a growth it is a keloid formed as a consequence of a deliberate traditional scaring . It's is a jazz/juju marking. Ask your parents.

@ Op. I can assure you it will go. Buy Ora inú ẹkùn tiger fat. It looks exactly like ori. 1500 naira will do. Be rubbing it on it as much as you can. Like 3 times a day. Use nylon or plaster to cover it so hat your cloth won't clean it up?

Its keloid and it can only be dealt with by surgical means by an expert dermatologist and plastic surgeon. But for the pains; you can use prednisolone and paracetamol just for the mean time because its already inflamed. Just make sure you see your doctor asap

Its Keloid, its caused by excessive protein during scar healing.
