Today we continue to argue in the style of Jochen Katz, the Nazi owner of the debunked and defunct trashy site known as answering-Islam (which is funny as they never answer anything).



If anyone has read the Bible, the Bible makes one very interesting claim, that God made the sun stand still, as the Bible tells us:



Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. (Joshua 10:12-14)



So the Bible tells us that the sun stood still.



Did any of you know that in the age we live in today, with the technology that is available to us, is that we can actually verify if such an event happened? We can actually verify if the sun ever stood still, this is not something that we can't go on and investigate.



The scientists and astronomers have investigated, all the way back to the big bang, and guess what? The sun never stood still, especially 4000-3000 years ago when this event took place.



There is not a shred of scientific evidence that such an event happened, nor is there any none-Biblical and authoritive historical documents that speak of an event!



So what will you do now? Ignore all the PHD scientists and their multi million dollar works, and all their evidences. Plus will you ignore the fact that there is no none Biblical text (which is authoritive and un disputed) which records such an event? Will you ignore all of this?



In fact this is not just a Jochen Katz style argument, this is your typical Christian argument, you Christians know yourselves, you're so proud of always mentioning HISTORICAL FACTS, and things that agree with science. This event right here completely gets a big fat F when it comes to history and science; hence it fails your own criteria. However since you are hypocrites you won't care about that, and still accept it, and still employ your double standards. If you don't happen to be one of these Christians then you are excused, however so if you are, and you know yourself, then indeed you are in a big hole right now, a very big hole, either throw your Bible out, or admit you are a lying hypocrite. J

When you speak the truth and people say you're lying. Are you obligated to shout and make noises, 'That you're telling the truth'

You simply leave them to their own devices. As far as you're concerned, you've spoken the truth and owe them nothing whatsoever.

If you need a verification of the fact, I would urge you to take steps towards getting that verification.Why wait for others to make the verification for you.

If there was/is any verification, I'm almost certain you would have found a convincing counter argument.

And you really should stop your high horsing. You seem to be dancing to the sound of your voice. It's a pity.
