Another abused car, and one best avoided. What are the "minor" faults? Why was the engine downgraded to a Volkswagen Golf III engine? The Skoda Octavia is part of the Volkswagen Group, and the engines are simple I4 units. So I fail to understand what was so wrong with the engine it left the factory with?

Worse, no pictures, and by the downgrade, it's lost its OBD II capability, and it'll have horrible fuel consumption.

I guess U're unable to take the pix cause the mechanic is not yet done fiddling with it. I'll however suggest U sell it to scrab yard. We don't want more blood on our already dilapidated roads.
