The policy of fuel subsidy payment was introduced into the Nigerian polity during the administration of IBB's junta when all the refineries in Nigeria failed due to no maintainance. It was a policy introduced to stabilize the price of petroleum products while the refineries underwent rehabilitation, and it was meant to last for only six months. Lincenses to lift, import and market oil were issued to friends of the IBB administration. They were the new oil bloc holders. Who became the almighty cabal. When this cabal saw that they were making billions of petro-Dollars profit from the payment of subsidy they frustrated every effort channeled into the rehabilitation of Nigerian refineries. A policy that was meant to last for six months now lasted for over twenty years! Up to that point of importation the business looks legitimate. But you can see some moral bankruptcy in it. They import into Nigeria at international prices with their ship. They bribe to ensure that the ships take long to offload. That way they make big profits on ship standby. Then govt buys at that international price from them but reduces it for Nigerians. Then the cabal goes behind again, buys the Nigerian price and ships out to other countries to resell at international prices again. A lot of round trippings where you see that product is recirculated several times in West Africa with big profit for these guys. So they have more than enough to sponsor rallies, pay for all hotels in major cities for protesters, buy gala and lacasera for occupiers, etc etc. You Nigerians love this scenerio. It is on record that Nigerians who made money in Nigerian oil like the IBBs, the Dantatas, the Sawoes, the Otedolas, the Danjumas, the Abachas, the Aremus, the Abubakas, and the Dangotes all own refineries in neighbouring African countries, those who dont own refineries out-rightly all have substantial stakes in neighbouring African countries. These group represents 0.00001% of Nigerians. The remaining 99.9% of Nigerians are left as slaves and are all cut off from the sharing of oil bloc lincenses by the IBB junta. Those friendly with IBB from then to this day are the cabals. Every other Nigerian were allienated by this cabal. And in the face of this injustice too, no one stood for the voiceless. Today a diminutive/small south-south man in the person of President Jonathan Goodluck has braved the odds to be, a man FOR the people. He refused the juicy subsidy money in order to push Nigeria into a developed society. He is championing the cause of the voiceless 99.9% the silent majority, whom the cabal are feeding with wrong information. Fellow Nigerians, the super-rich cabal is fighting for their lives, they are using their stolen money to organize mass action against the President's subsidy removal policy. Even labour agrees that subsidy should be removed but are not comfortable with the timing. When will the timing be right to remove corruption. Labour should strike on palliatives not a return to #65, else tommorrow people will see labour as part of Nigeria's problems.  Maintain your dignity before the Nigerian populace. The organised labour should be careful, else this strike becomes the last stroke to their public goodwill. The coup against the heartless cabal has already taken place, no need to frustrate our humble Goodluck, fight for immediate short time palliatives and the clear blue print for the creation of living wage jobs. Dont dent your image by frustrating a courageous revolutionary leader. Dont let conscience driven Nigeria see you as people bought over by the cabal.

Very off-point and weak. Who was in charge in 2011 when subsidy jumped to 1.3b? IBB? Danjuma?
Re: The Secret Cabal Exposed by Nobody: 10:44pm On Jan 16, 2012
Subsidy did not begin in 2011 but 20 years ago and no one cared for the rehabilitation of the refineries.

Bros, stop wasting your breath, it wont them any good.

I have learnt that it is not worth it, trying to tell the blind man that the colour of the bulb in the room is white.
