@ StarFlux:
LOL! I'm Canadian by birth and live in the US, so I'd never heard the word "oyinbo." Needless to say, I have quite a bit to learn about Nigerian culture.

Indeed, I've encountered MANY unfamiliar words, here. Another one of which is "pammy."

I noticed that all the articles I wrote pre-2008(before I became active on NL) were less vituperative(euphemism for being abusive) than the ones I wrote 2008 till date. NL taught me how to abuse, directly or indirectly. And this is real.

bleep is a word seun and his censor-whatever decided is a good replacement for harmless"fvck"
Its in the dictionary,looked it up but can't remember the exact words the dictionary used in explaining it,but it has something to do with electrical\electronic sound. Wonder why seun chose it.

@sexkillz:
Yes, I now know the meaning of "pammy," but it was a very unfamiliar term to me as recently as last year.  Thank you, though!  I appreciate any and all assistance as I navigate my way around the site!   cheesy

I could list any of a number of words in Nigerian Pidgin, as it's a language that I don't speak at all.  sad

(Not yet, anyway! wink)
