Don’t let vehicles dealer rip you off. The secret they don’t want you to find out. Do you know that many dealers get their vehicles at Cotonou, yet they claim is being shipped from Canada, Germany, Japan etc. Do you know that you can get a write off N250, 000 – N300, 00 on a vehicle purchased from Cotonou. For example a 2003 CRV Honda goes for approximately N1, 500, 000 but in Cotonuo that same vehicle goes for N1, 200,000 – N1, 250,000. For security reason there is no need to carry cash along with you. Nigerian banks have their branches at the border, so you can easily deposit your money here in Nigeria and withdraw it over there and you can also covert it to either dollars or their local currency there. Note, you will need an agent when bringing it into the country. Reading your opening thread, you're the sort of "dealer" that would make one break into a sweat, and have sleepless nights.

One of the worst adverts I've come across in the Auto section. You don't knock other dealers to make yourself seem good and trustworthy. Big mistake! I'm sure anyone with half a brain would know a vehicle that was purchased from Cotonou, unless there were no documents pertaining to the said vehicle.

From what I've observed in this section, and satisfied client threads, there's nothing wrong buying from Cotonou. Anyone listening to your rant would think there are no lemons brought in from Canada and North America.
