Is this the sort of approach that convinced you? This is simply a poor emotional argument.
I could pose a question to you e.g how would you feel if Jupiter was going to crash into the earth? Put away your doubts and assume 100% that it is going to happen, how will you feel?
Asking people to suspend rational thought is a terrible way to start a serious discussion on issues to be taken as being real.

no once you experience Gods mercy and love you realise that the good path is the best one. All that will happen when u get left behind u will suffer pain and grow boils all over ur body and will be tormented by scorpions if u don't accept the mark of the beast 666

ONLY 1 THING

I consider myself to be a rationalist. I don't believe in god(s) because it doesn't make sense to based on the best information available to me. If the rapture were to occur, and there were no better explanation for it other than the religious one, then I'll swallow my pride and join religion.

If the skies were to part today and God was to poke his head through and say hi, I'd apologize for doubting him and follow whatever religion he prefers. I'll probably also start secretly researching ways to neutralize or defeat him since the bible clearly shows that he is a mass-murdering psycho who can't be trusted not to try and wipe out humanity again.

Atheism is not based on sentiment or gut feeling. It's base on pure common sense. Atheists believe in dinosaurs becaus we've found their bones and eggs and footprints. We have evidence that they once existed. If we could find god's footprints we'd believe in him too.

I'm waiting for the inevitable simpletons who will now claim that they saw "the hand of god" in church or in the market ir something.

First of all I'm not an "atheist" but if the rapture did occur then how many so called Christians will make it themselves?
And to be honest I'm actually more interested in how such an individual will feel if they didn't make it after adhering to that particular faith.

my friend some of the things I have experienced have bin crazy so I will believe such. When u are spiritually awake u know what's up. I have had evil spirits attack me and try to kill me numerous times so that's enough evidence that a spiritual realm exists. I have also fealt my spirit leaving my body when I was suffering hypertension and my spirit was affecting people near me to the point where they started feeling heart attack also and an oyinbo woman who was suffering pain in her heart from my spirits pull confessed to me that she was a witchcraft practicer.
