Politically, Peter Obi cannot stand next to Tinubu — let’s be honest.

What exactly did Peter Obi achieve in his own state when he was governor?
Do you know how many youths were killed and thrown into the river under his watch?

When Obasanjo was president, he was arrogant, entitled, and wicked. He held back Lagos State’s allocation and refused to fix the 1999 Constitution that’s still affecting your lives today.

Tinubu built Lagos with loans, survived the pressure, invested in people, and still rose. He even paid my school fees — I went to Fagba Grammar School and Sinmori.

Today, that same Tinubu is paying every state their allocation and restructuring Nigeria little by little — but many of you are too blinded by noise to see it.

You want a country that has been sick for 60 years to be healed in just 2 years?

Do you even know the name of your Local Government Chairman?
Do you know how much your Representatives and Governors collect on your behalf?

We are no longer talking about what Tinubu did as Lagos State governor; that was propaganda.

The past two and a half years of the Tinubu regime are now a living reality of what he is capable of.

Under his regime, the inflation rate is at an all-time high, fuel pump price and food prices have skyrocketed, rent is high, transportation costs , and the naira has been severely devalued. The unemployment rate is alarming, and the National Bureau of Statistics is no longer releasing accurate figures because the situation is unimaginable. No jobs are being created, insecurity is ravaging the entire country, and terrorists and bandits are committing heinous crimes. Kidnappings and ransom payments have practically become state policy.

Under his watch, Nigeria has been declared a country of particular concern, a disgraced nation.

Ok we don hear you, you can now crawl back and let us see road and stay alert before una boys come kidnap us

Even Peter Obi won't argue the obvious fact.

While Tinubu was building a party, someone rode on the back of Ojukwu to prominence. Had he remained in APGA, APGA would have been a national force.

After his tenure, which was mediocre at best and lackluster, he went to PDP. He did not accomplish anything there, and went to LP where he rode on the back of the Obidient group and mismanaged it. Even in local elections, his candidates exhibit very poor showings. An indication that his political weight is insignificant.

He should not be compared with Tinubu.

Tinubu's vision in Lagos was annoying as it caused short-term hardship and long-term gains as we saw later.

LAWMA was rebranded by Tinubu for waste collection. LAMATA was started by Tinubu, and 20 years on, LAMATA is managing a state-owned rail. LASAMBUS (ambulance services), LASAA (adverts and signage) and tax administration were Tinubu's products.

Yes, we are experiencing short-term pains, but we should be hopeful for long-term rewards. You can see how decisive Tinubu is after pressures on insecurity. His approach is to plan and not jump in. Let us continue to put pressure on him to deliver.

Some people will say that someone saved money. Anyone who gets money for free as allocation can save if he doesn't have investment plans. By now, that state should be fabricating everything under the sun and become economically sustainable if it ever had visionary leadership. If possible, find a Tinubu boy with Tinubu's vision to run that state and give them 12 years.

Meanwhile, some cabinet ministers need to be reviewed and allowed to go. Many of them are a cog in the wheel of development.

I think Tinubu may win in 2027. Since 1999, the opposition has never been in this level of disarray less than 15 months to a major election.

With the current state of Nigeria, called a disgraced country, citizens being killed and kidnapped, cost of living that is keeling the living, City Boy stands on a class of his own.

That's if leadership incompetence was a category.

Currently, Tinubu is the worse president in the history of Nigeria, yet these tribalits still think it's a game of comparism between him and Peter Obi.

If you said "rigging wise", then we would see how many people would dare disagree. Two people are running a race and the one that came last is pronounced winner, does that make him a great athlete?

We are more interested in politics in Nigeria than in development. Under Tinubu, we have seen the mess Nigeria is ! Poorly governed, riddled with insecurity and mass poverty never witnessed in the life time of anyone in Nigeria. Samlef of whatever can continue to deflect Tinubu gross failure by drawing attention to Peter Obi who won his State in the last Presidential election by more than 90% while Tinubu lost in the same Lagos he governed. Why? Because Lagos and Anambra voters knew both candidates well, having both been Governors of their respective States. They gave their honest and sincere opinion on each candidate through their votes.

He is actually right in a way. Politically you say?

IMO. PO is not even a politician. Tinubu is an embodiment of your typical African politician- crafty, corrupt, nepotistic and non-empathetic.

PO isn’t even a career politician. Politics seem like an after thought, the drive to leave a mark.

I give it to the West when it comes to control of the media, they can easily push any narrative, the ability to discredit a good man, or launder the image of a corrupt character.

At the end, deep in your heart, you know who would have been better, who would have had genuine concern and empathy for the citizens.

But no, we must stick with that which makes us feel alright even when it’s all wrong. That which benefits our family alone at the detriment of others.

Yes, I agree with you, PBAT is a better politician, and this is not sarcasm.

But is he a good leader of his people?

Peter Obi can't even stand Lagos LCDA chairmen let alone President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. To some people, theu can't see anything good in Tinubu because he's not from their tribe.

Some low IQ men are just hyping this man. Why didn't he contest with ACN let's know how popular he is.

Saying that tinubu knows politics is just like saying that someone that pass exam with only malpractice is a genius. Then when invited in a
free and fair exam the person cannot pass.

So if Nigeria should get better tomorrow and things start working, can any candidate he support win election?

Peter Obi didn't only contest against tinubu in the presidential election, Peter Obi disgraced tinubu in his Lagos and was just about defeating him to clinch the presidency till INEC chairman, Mahmood, compromised and rigged in tinubu favour.

It is very wrong for an entertainer to be making this type of statement In the public. This is very irresponsibility of him. Always remember that your fans are cut across Nigeria. They are not only Yoruba

Conduct a credible election any day, Obi will always defeat Tinubu just like he did 2023 before INEC shutdown IREV

Instead of focusing on what they can get from leadership or government or the democracy itself the talk is always about how small they are and how inconsequential their aspirations are compared to their overlords. A feudal mindset indeed.

The truth behind talk like this is that if certain leaders are too big to be subject to contest, then they are also too big to be subject to the people's will.

And that is what we have seen since 1999, leaders that don't listen, don't respond to the people. They get away by the ignorance of the people to rule them anyhow.

If our democracy has been an outstanding success why is the country this poorly governed. Why is poverty still an issue 26 years and counting after the much berated military exited governance. Why is security substantially worse.

I think we should have a mindset change and start owning this process so that we can actually install the people and the governments we want and know can really do the job the way we want it.

By politics I'm sure you mean in terms of thieving.
