No useful diagnosis could made from the kidney function test result. You should've consulted a Dr, who would have recommended an appropriate test |

A doctor actually asked me to do the test but if I may ask what appropriate test are you talking about sir or ma? DSS1335: |

Herbalworld:Here is a simple, easy-to-understand summary of your test results: --- ✅ Kidney Function Urea: 4.60 mmol/L 👉 Normal (Range: 2.5 – 8.0) Creatinine: 119.4 µmol/L 👉 Slightly high for some labs, but still close to normal depending on gender and muscle mass. eGFR: 69 👉 This suggests mildly reduced kidney function (Stage 2 CKD), but not dangerous. It can also be normal for young adults with high muscle mass, dehydration, or temporary factors. --- ✅ Electrolytes Sodium (142.3 mmol/L): Normal (135–145) Potassium (3.35 mmol/L): Low (Normal: 3.5–5.5) 👉 This is mild hypokalemia. Chloride (106.9 mmol/L): Normal (97–110) Bicarbonate (23.8 mmol/L): Normal (20–30) --- 🟡 Main Points to Note 1. Kidney function is slightly reduced, but not severe. This could be from dehydration, medication, stress, or normal variation. 2. Potassium is a bit low. This may cause tiredness, cramps, palpitations. 3. All other electrolytes and urea are normal. --- 🩺 What to Do Drink enough water daily. Increase potassium-rich foods: banana, orange, coconut water, avocado, potatoes. Repeat kidney function tests in 1–3 months. If you use diuretics, herbal mixtures, or supplements, consider reviewing them. If symptoms like leg cramps, weakness, or palpitations occur, see a doctor. |

Herbalworld:That's fine if it was a Dr. that recommended the test. Perhaps, he suspected early kidney damages signs but the results showed otherwise. I suggest you update him with the results for follow up |

Herbalworld:What if those signs you were experiencing are due to uncontrolled high blood pressure? As someone rightly pointed out here that your potassium level was a little bit low which might correlate with HBP. Could you share the values of your recent Blood pressure readings? What aew |

@strangest thank you so much. May God bless you. Do you suggest I start kidney infection treatment or I should hold on a bit? Middle of my back and my stomach hurt sometimes and I am really bothered. I was told I have mild staphylococcus, should I just focus on treating the staph. Thanks |
