The Yoruba Judiciary have , after 12 gruesome years for Al Mustapha, arrived at the legalizing of his lynching in the on going vendetta for June 12 and Kudirat Abiola's murder.  Al Mustapha , a gallant and loyal officer has carried out his orders to the end and often happens might have even gone overboard. This may be the last chapter in paymentss and appeasement for the mistake of one dictator ( IBB)  and his team.  It will be ironical if Al Mustapha is hanged on the same day we are conducting the funeral of the Ikemba Emeka Ojukwu another controversial fellow who plunged the nation into civil war which resulted in the loss of million+ of lives. he was however fogiven and today we are celebrating life and reflecting at  his final exit. Gowon implicated in the bloody military coup that saw the murder of the commander in chief MurtalaMuhammed in the streets of lagos and followed by more blood shed was also perdoned unconditionally by the same president who pardoned Ojukwu. And Gowon of course pardoned Awolowo who was serving a life sentence for the first treason in the country. He was even made a powerful minister of finance , how forgiving can you be?Nigeria is ready to show it's contrasting 2 sides when Al Mustapha is hanged. A forgiving nation that bends over backwards to ensure unity and sustainability and also a vindictive nation that will go to any length to get even with political criminals.

Oga sir,you really need to shake off the emotions and let your real sense of justice come out. Why is it that in Nigeria, a hardened criminal becomes a hero once he aligns with an ethnic or religious section? It is wrong. As a Muslim, I find it even more insulting that Muslims no longer want justice, but are more interested in their ethnic alignment. Al-Mustapha allegedly caused terror in many families. Even Mohammed Abacha testified against him. His actions then could have led to civil war if the Yoruba nation didnt believe in social justice. That justice was served yesterday. We all know that going up north, justice is served on the street to any perceived enemies without a chance of fair trial. The Yoruba nation bore the pain for so long and never did any riots occur in Abiola's name aimed at killing other tribes.
I promise you, Nagoma, that if injustice is done to al-Mustapha, I will be amongst many Yorubas who will rise up against it. In this case though, himself and Shofolahan have failed to prove their innocence.
