Pls someone wants to send me some money from london asking for my nigerian bank acct which i gave him. he says that he needs the sort code of the bank branch to be able to pay in the money as he operate an online bank account with fcmb from london, pls i want to know if this is ok or if it is the latest scam cos i dont trust all these our guys in uk |

It is the latest update from CBN. Go to your bank to get that. |

A sort code identifies a specific branch of a bank. It has 9-digits. first 3 are the bank's code, the next is the location and the last 5 are for the branch. It is printed on every single checkleaf, the middle set of characters on the MICR line. 1 Like |
