Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior–Mid Full-Stack Engineer with strong frontend skills and growing
experience in APIs, databases, and cloud-based systems .

This role is ideal for someone who:
● Is comfortable building user-facing features
● Wants hands-on exposure to backend APIs and data modeling
● Is eager to learn cloud-native development in a real production system
You will work closely with senior engineers to deliver core product features end-to-end — from
UI, to API, to database.

Key Responsibilities
Frontend (Primary Focus)
● Build and maintain responsive, server-rendered web pages for the public site (e.g., deals
listing pages).
● Implement admin-facing interfaces for managing deals, categories, and content.
● Translate designs and product requirements into clean, accessible UI components.
● Ensure good performance and usability on mobile devices and low-bandwidth
connections.
API & Backend (Secondary, Guided)
● Integrate frontend features with backend APIs (read and write operations).
● Help implement and maintain REST APIs for core features such as deals, taxonomy, and
visibility rules.
● Participate in defining and consuming API contracts in collaboration with senior
engineers.
● Assist with basic backend logic such as filtering, pagination, and validation.
Database & Cloud Exposure
● Work with a relational database (PostgreSQL) to understand how application data is
stored and queried.
● Help test and validate data models used by the application.
● Gain hands-on exposure to cloud services (serverless functions, managed databases,
object storage).
● Assist with deploying and testing features in cloud-based preview and staging
environments.
Engineering Practices
● Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to develop, test, and deploy changes safely.
● Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for maintainable, production-quality
code.
● Collaborate in an Agile environment with clear sprint goals and priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Solid experience with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript .
● Experience building responsive, mobile-first web interfaces.
● Familiarity with at least one modern web framework (e.g., React, Next.js, or similar).
● Basic understanding of how web APIs work (HTTP, JSON, REST).
● Some experience working with a database (SQL basics preferred).
● Comfort using Git for version control.
● Willingness to learn backend and cloud concepts as part of the role.
● Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills
● Experience with server-rendered applications (SSR).
● Exposure to Node.js or similar backend runtimes.
● Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
● Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar).
● Experience working on e-commerce, marketplace, or content-driven platforms.
● Interest in performance optimization and SEO basics.
