Frank MBA enjoyed DOUBLE promotion - he jumped one rank to become a DIG and
nobody called it tribalism…

We applauded it as “FEDERAL CHARACTER”…
Now that the same federal character has been used to double promote DISU, we have suddenly remembered Frank MBA’s tribe…

I have a lot of respect for DIG FRANK MBA.
I consider him a very brilliant Police Officer.
He would be so embarrassed by what Igbos are doing to him by making him look ungrateful to the same country that promoted him to DIG just 3 months after becoming AIG.

Other regions are not complaining… there are NORTHERN NIGERIAN SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS but they are not complaining.

The current Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of Nigeria is Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke - an Enugu man.

I’ve always said it, there are at least 371 ethnic groups in Nigeria. If you think any of the three major ethnic groups are marginalised then ask yourself how the rest of the over 300 other ethnic groups feel.
Igbos, Hausas and Yorubas have NO right to cry about marginalisation. These three tribes have been the ones marginalising the MINORITY 367 other ethic groups.

Congratulations to both DISU and MBA - Nigeria worked for you both. You both have achieved what over 90% of other Nigerians will never achieve in their lifetime.

I knew there is a sinister reason for their keeping quiet then when Frank Mba was elevated above his Senior, Disu, but now bringing up victim mentality when Disu who was a Senior and more experienced and qualified is now being promoted.


Always playing victim even when you are the ones cheating others and stillout to continue to cheat others. Smh

But for God, Disu would have been retired as AIG while his Junior, Mba, would have retired as DIG.

I congratulate TUNJI DISU, but YORUBA's should remember nothing last forever, we shall be here when na Igbo man will ascend the Presidency', YORUBA's if them like they should cry foul.

When things work in your favour, it is your birth right, but when it is not in your favour, it becomes a case of marginalization, oppression, nepotism, etc. The same way many ADC members were complaining about the recent election in Rivers State because it didn't work for them. If ADC had won the election, I am sure the story would be different, the election would have been described as the best in the history of Nigerian democracy. In 2023, President Tinubu loss to LP in the Presidential Election and nobody talked about the mass rigging of election result in Lagos in the Igbo Community in Lagos.

All we want is someone who can help solve the problem of insecurity in the country. We need solution, action and effectiveness...Yoruba IG, Igbo or Hausa is political, all we want is a secured nation free from crime, corruption and insurgency.

Yeah. He spent 3 month from AIG to DIG. Thats nepotism.

Igbo man will not do nada, we're Yoruba and we're first class citizen,even Igbo presidency will be run by Yoruba

I THOUGHT YOU'D BE MORE CONCERNED THAT YOU'VE had successive IGs and still Fulani are pursuing Yoruba people out of Yorubaland. Of what use is Yoruba IG then?

I'd prefer having an IG from anywhere in the country as long as my people are safe. But obviously your w a r p e d m i n d puts tribalism ahead of safety. That's why Kwara is gone and Oyo, Ekiti and Osun are going.

Congratulations to Acting IGP Disu.. we pray he brings necessary reforms to the Nigerian Police Force.
If not for the injustice meted on Yorubas, the Acting IGP I learnt joined the service before Mr. Mba who has enjoyed rapid promotion over the years.

It's the President's prerogative to appoint IGP and he has appointed his choice. Case closed
