Darekiki:My brother, next time make sure you read well before diving into intellectual discussions. So @bolded, how did the US/UK sanctioning of Russian football club affect the world economy? Una no dey gree to read. It's none of my business if two people are fighting and are targeting and destroying each other's interests (like in the case of US/UK vs Russia that you quoted above), it becomes my business only when one of the warring parties decides to destroy the world or starts holding me at ransom to spite the other party and instead of facing the person he's fighting heads on like Iran is doing currently. Your analogy would have made sense and I would have mistakenly thought you knew what you were saying if you had claimed that the US/UK threatened to destroy the world economy if Russia didn't stop its invasion of Ukraine or if the US had targeted something we all enjoyed universally in a bid to spite the Russians e.g targeting the Russian natural gas pipelines in a bid to deal with Russia not minding the fact that the destruction of such installations would affect the rest of the world and the European neighbors who relied heavily on Russia for the gas or if the US had used a weapon that could destroy the oxygen we all inhale just to spite Russia. Keynote here is "suicide" because Iran is literally trying to bring down the skies just to deal with the US. Terrorizing the strait of hormuz that's not even a US asset is terrorism. It would have been understandable if it was an American asset. Just a couple days ago, a top Iranian leader threatened to bring the world economy to its knees in response to US attack knowing fully well that they too aren't going to be spared. Now isn't that terrorism and how suicide bombers operate? If a country that doesn't mind dealing with the whole world by blocking that strategic path in a bid to spite the US is allowed to have a nuclear weapon, do you think it would hesitate to use it killing everybody including itself in the process? Now why should the US allow such a country access to such a dangerous weapon? Isn't this enough proof that the US and every other sane person opposing Iran aren't just being paranoid, Iran is giving us enough reasons to believe they mustn't be allowed to own them. A suicidal person must never be allowed access to dangerous weapons and that's final! Was the US sanctioning Abrahamovic assets a threat to your life? Was it ever a threat to the global economy or just the economy of Russia and a Russian man only? Make una dey think na. |

fijiano202:You are ignorant of past history by saying current government leaders in Iran are not terrorists. The current government leaders in Iran are terrorists like Boko Haram , Iran was using monarchial system of government before the current terrorists and jihadists forcefully took over Iran government and change their system of government to Islamic Republic, Since then, they have been forcing Iranian who are Muslims or not to live under Islamic / sharia law. The Iranian terrorists in government has since then been sponsoring terrorists and terror activities against Israel through Hezbollah in Lebanon, , Hamas in Gaza, Houthis in Yemen, Syria, etc They have created another government for terrorists in Lebanon that is even challenging the legitimate government |

So, the third world war we heard about since 2022 will finally take place? Good. Any black African who chooses to fight for any side will surely rot in hell. |

Sending 5,000 or even 50,000 might not really achieve anything because of the already established threat. I'm sure they won't even fight back because no sane business man will allow his or her economic goods perish because those guys are determined to wreck havoc on anyone on that route. |

fijiano202:Mu Mu Is it Iran that will give you visa. USA is not one of the places I long to travel to. Two of my siblings are there, so if I need to go, it is damn easy. They are both green card holders. One owns a hospital and he is a Professor in a University as well So, get that into your empty upstairs. Try and get enough data so that you stay abreast of latest information not the propaganda Aljazeera feeds you guys. An Iranian lady addressed the UN yesterday and you should hear what she said about the evil regime. The world needs peace and any nation sponsoring terrorism must be dealt with without mercy. Bokoharam and ISWAP are arms of ISIS and all get their major sponsorship fro IRAN. Your people cant live in peace all over Nigeria yet many of you, are di ll usional because of a re,lig, ion that beads terror. A reli, gion its founder was so confused that he openly declared that heaven is not sure for him. Seun has spoiled the fun on Nairaland. I wish I could express myself without all the barriers he has gullibly set in place. |

Why does US have to be everywhere but not want others close by, imagine Russia or China setting up a base in any of the nearby North American countries. Something will surely give in this war and I'm sure the Iranians will not fall flat without a fight, we may be on a long drawn out war the way it's looking. |

fijiano202:Education is not the problem it's probably more of the lack of ability to be open minded to correctly update information. 5,000 soldiers is extremely small. A primary school has 50 kids in a class times 4 classes per set that means primary one has 200 students. Then times 6 arms . A school would have like 1200 students. 4 schools is 4,800 students. Look at how small a school is and you wonder what 5,000 soldiers will cope with drone warfare. Iran have a large drone fleet and those 5,000 soldiers on water will be easy pickings. Nobody can really be trained for suicide drone while in a boat. It smells of disaster |

OBIDIENTNAIJA:Who are the We ? This is the problem right here, Always so fully committed to what they should not be committed to Wondering how many Americans use the word We in reference to Nigeria This is how people brainwash themselves by losing the ability to remain neutral. And embrace others with We. This is the mindset a manipulator loves because it's a mind that is not grounded in it's self. |

gulfer:It's not going to last that long, the loses will be great for all sides, the Winner will be the one who can take all the loses with a smile. It was a very unnecessary war. They would have been more concerned about making sure a nuclear bomb was never built. But please. Peace is the Best Answer to War |
