Is It Just Me Or Do We Spend Too Much Time Watching Instead Of Creating? by Seunkeji(op): 7:10pm On Apr 27
I was thinking about something recently.

Most of us spend a lot of time on our phones every day.

Watching videos.
Scrolling through posts.
Jumping from one thing to another.

It feels normal because that’s what everyone is doing.

But then I started noticing something:

The people we are watching are actually putting out content consistently.

Some of them are not doing anything extraordinary.

- Someone is just sharing cooking clips
- Another person talks about daily experiences
- Some people just share simple opinions

Nothing too serious.

But they keep showing up.

And over time:
- More people start noticing
- Their content spreads
- Their audience grows

Meanwhile, many of us are just watching everything happen.

It made me think:

What if more people tried creating instead of only consuming?

Not something big.

Just something simple:
- Share an idea
- Talk about something you’ve experienced
- Show something you already do

No pressure. No perfection.

Just consistency.

That small shift alone could make a difference over time.

I wrote a simple breakdown on this here for anyone curious:

Do you think people don’t start because they don’t know how, or because they just don’t take it seriously?
