Have you thought of what you support and what the future of Nigeria will be? Do you support:

1. A president or a strong individual like TInubu who wakes up and hand-picks a governor for over 8 million people and makes their votes and aspirations useless?

2. A president or a strong man like TInubu or Wike who can remove an elected governor, impose a military head and warn the elected governor never to seek reelection?

3. A president who doesn't believe in the rule of law but manipulates the institutions of the states like the judiciary, legislature, INEC etc at his will?

4. A president who does everything to avoid free and fair elections but celebrates rigged election?

5. A president who avoids real media face-to-face review of policies and implementation?

6. A president who uses money to buy votes during the primary and general elections?

If your choice of candidate has the characteristics above, you're worse than the bandits. You're the one working hard to stop the growth and liberation of Nigeria.

Peter Obi will never be in a party where delegates will be bought with dollars to vote a Nigerian president. That's where the death of Nigeria begins. TInubu did it and bought his way through and believes only the elite he buys are important. If destroying that corrupt pattern of transactional politics is the only principle he leaves for Nigerians, he has fulfilled a strong mission.

Delusion, but the same obi shared money In the last LP presidential primaries, the same obi that refused to conduct local govt elections for a whole 7 years as a governor ? He only conducted lga elections few months to the end of his tenure in order to control the incoming govt ? The same man that refused to pay doctors and doctors went on strike for 13 months under his nose as a governor? The one that deported northerners or the one that poverty increased under him as a governor ? Which of the obi? The one that used sars to slaughter people as a governor ? Keep deceiving yourself.

Who is more democratic: the person who, despite all odds, still goes through party primaries, or the person who refuses primaries and simply wants the party ticket?
Or, who would you prefer as a leader: the one who walks away when challenges arise, or the one who stays the course to achieve his goal, no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem?

No. Let me help you rephrase: For losing out in the game with his fellow sleazy politicians, obi cannot stand the primaries because he's a coward that runs from political challenges.

I'm sure I don't want a president that bolts at the first sign of trouble. Anyone that runs away because of crisis in a tiny party like LP has no business fooooling himself that he's the solution to the multifaceted problems faced by a multi ethnic entity like Nigeria.

So Obi should be fighting the legislature and the judiciary the government is manipulating to destroy opposition? Where is Leke now?

We don't want a President that appears in Pandora papers for avoiding tax and putting a lot of his money behind a complex labyrinth of accounts in tax havens under other people's names.

Principled indeed
