Vote Boycotters Are The Problem by jmoore(op): 8:02am On May 10
Out of the total 93.47 million registered voters, only 24.9 million persons voted in 2023 presidential elections.

68 million Nigerians boycotted 2023 presidential elections.

How can one be lamenting about the poor state of the country but when it's time for elections, they sit at home or play football.

Imagine if an unknown presidential candidate can convince just 20 million out of the 68 million that boycotted to vote for him, the person would definitely win.

I believe that Nigeria can have 3-4 strong political parties.

I think the government should make voting compulsory.

Australia has a fine of $20 for those that do not comply with mandatory voting laws while Austria requires a valid reason for not voting and will levy a 1,000 schilling fine for violations, the equivalent of approximately $70 USD.

How can you be comparing the two things? They are not interchangeable.

There's a difference between the two

If you don't want to pay tax, then stop earning good money or go to tax safe heaven like Peter Obi did

People can't be force to vote, it's a personal choice to vote or not

I listed examples of countries where voting is mandatory. You probably didn't read it.

Will Obi still enter church today again to campaign after hobnobbing with sharia implementation partnership.

You can politicians can sacrifice anything.

Obi that portrayed a saint is not with the same camp with Sharia people.

Anyways he can't even win nada
