Why Are There So Many Denominations?

There are many denominations because men left the absolute of the Word and organized around creeds, leaders, and partial truths. When people trade revelation for tradition, they build walls. God allows it so that those who are truly for the Word can be made manifest.
2) Scriptural Explanation
- The Bible shows the root of sects when believers begin to rally around names: “I am of Paul… I am of Apollos.” Paul asks, “Is Christ divided?” (1 Corinthians 1:12–13). That spirit produces splits.
- “There must be also heresies [sects] among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest” (1 Corinthians 11:19). God permits divisions to reveal who stands with the Word.
- Jesus warned that traditions make the Word of God of no effect (Mark 7:7–9,13). When traditions take the place of the Word, denominations multiply.

The answer to the title question is straightforward. The reason why there are so many denominations in Christianity, and every other religion by the way, happens to be that they all depend, not on the literal meanings of claims/texts, but rather on interpretations. 😒

Christians are just one group it's Satan's agents that form denominations so if anyone doesn't care to know Jesus' group but calling different religions "Christians" simply because they claim so then such a person has been blinded by Satan!🙂

There are many denominations because if you give 100 people a copy of the bible for example, to read at the same time, each one of them will have their own different interpretations.

It tells you how the human munds are confused.

Jesus used an illustration to teach what will happen in our time.

A man went to the field and sow fine seeds {Matthew 13:24} when men were sleeping his enemy came at night to sow weeds in the same field {Matthew 13:25} when the two grew his servants reported back to him {Matthew 13:26-27} they asked if they should go and uproot the weeds {Matthew 13:28} he told them not to do so because while trying to uproot weeds they may mistakingly remove the fine seeds too {Matthew 13:29} finally he told them to wait until the harvest when everything has grown then they will see clearly the fine seeds and the weeds. If we notice the last verse the master told his servants "First collect the weeds and bind them in BUNDLES to burn them up" this means there will be contradicting doctrines that people take for Christian teachings but in the endtime such teachings will be separated from truth.

How are such doctrines burned?

If anyone comes to tell you what he or she believes please ask them to tell you the name of the church where such is being taught you will notice that they will not be able to mention any church because the angels Jesus sent in our time are presently burning false teachings {Matthew 13:41-42} gradually false doctrines are being burned that is why those holding to it can't point to any church where such is being taught anymore but the truth is now shinning globally as true Christians are gathering and our teachings are known by all! Matthew 13:43; Isaiah 2:2

Religions are manmade ideologies, no different from the many other ideologies out there, all of them with numerous interpretations.😒
