I hope you are well.

 My name is Emmanuel Oluwabukunmi Ojo, a postgraduate student at the University of Greenwich in the UK, studying on the MSc Applied Food Safety and Quality Management. I am currently conducting  research on farmers in the south-west of Nigeria to assess their level of food safety knowledge and their relationship to practices.  

 
I would like to invite you to take part in this study. To participate you should be a small-scale farmer in South-West Nigeria. If you agree to take part, you will be asked to complete a short online questionnaire that will take 15-20 minutes. Participation is voluntary and anonymous. Your responses will help assess food safety knowledge, its influence on safe farming practices, and identify barriers affecting food safety and good agricultural practices among small scale farmers in the region. You can withdraw from the study at any time without giving a reason, but once you submit the questionnaire, it is not possible to withdraw the anonymised data.
