Exactly a week after multiple explosions rocked the military formations in Kaduna, another round of multiple bombs exploded yesterday in Kaduna metropolis. The explosions occured barely 24 hours after a bomb scare at the Government House, Kaduna where a director in Governor Yakowa’s government was shot by security operatives on the suspicion that he was a suicide bomber.

Yesterday’s explosions killed a mobile policeman, who was trying to use a bomb detector to scan an object dumped by the roadside allegedly by the Boko Haram sect at Ungwan Sarki area, near the Sultan Bello Mosque. Two others were also injured.

The multiple explosions, eyewitness said, occurred at about 11 .33am while the one that killed the policeman went off about 12.15 pm.
