I live & do business in the UK & export to Nigeria. The thing to do is inform the supplier that you intent to export the goods outside the EU. They will ask for a Nigerian invoice address. But because they need proof that you're actually living the country with the items, they will need a bill of lading or certificate of shipment from your shipper.

I would suggest that you speak to your supplier and ask them to ship the goods or use their own shipping company so that they don't charge VAT on the goods at all. Or provide them with the address of your shipping company to send the goods to.

Hope this helps.
