If I were a fresher, I would take EVERYTHING I see on this page with a pinch of salt. When I was in the same situation you are now, I got so confused with conflicting information from various sources from my set's uniben page on Nairaland, you name it! What I would advice is, BELIEVE ONLY WHAT YOU SEE ON THE UNIBEN SITE(S)(I heard you guys use Kofa now and www.uniben.edu.ng). UNIBEN tells you, we start clearance on the 22nd it doesn't mean it's ending that day infact it continues AFTER MATRIC, its just that the earlier the better. You have issues with wrong institution, go to ABUJA to rectify it(my friend did the same. BUT DO IT EARLY). Stop speculating about FEES! It raises BP! I know what I'm saying. If you are in the habit of doing this it is wrong! My Brother said..., A Prof said, a Worker said... Stop it! The thing is this, UNIBEN IS OUT TO STRESS YOU. It has started since the days you waited for the date of UNIBEN'S PUME till THE DAY YOU LEAVE THE SCHOOL. Take it easy with your self, the information will come, just be proactive. I made mistake in the arrangement of my names when i was doing my jamb registration.i put first name where it ought to be surname.and i put surname where it ought to be first name.My middle name is at the right place.CAN I CORRECT THIS MISTAKE DURING ONLINE CLEARANCE? |

I have decided not to listen to what people on this thread say, because I am 2 young to be a high BP patient. The rumours here are gettin 2much. Haba! If u know ur information or source of information is not reliable, pls, abeg, pasisi, ejor don't share. Just sit on the fence and watch, just as I'm doing. Those of u who have read all the 100L course materials, I hail o. I believe u av also seen our 1st semester exam questions. And those who are rejectin halls that they've not even seen, wait until all bed spaces av been given out, then u wil stay in the main auditorium wit ur mat and camp bed.. I rep industrial chemistry. SCHOOL FEES INCREMENT>Students UNION OFFICIALLY REACTS The management on tuesday the 16th of october 2012 increased the school fees payment of sciences and social sciences to N20,500 and N17,000 respectively.Th e union saw this as an eyesore and an aberration,an action which must be resisted to the latter,The union therefore went into negotiations with the management and arrived at N16,000 for sci... ences and N13,500 for social sciences.After releasing this to the public,there was a general dissatisfaction among students who cried that the N16,000 and N13,500 was still much on the high side.The union after carefull deliberations and consultations went back to management for a Re-negotiation of the already agreed ammount which after hours of negotiations was reduced to N11,000 FOR sciences and N9,000 for social sciences,Arts And Humanities.But however,due to the NUC directive introducing N1,600 for Tiship(Tertiary institution Health insurance),N400 for life insurance which will be implemented in all federal institutions.Ne w school fees ammount was then arrived at.As it stands now sciences are to pay N14,000 while social sciences,Arts and Humanities are to pay N12,000.We therefore urge all students to commence the payment of schoolfees at the various designated banks for each faculty. we also use this medium to warn all rumour mongers and Gossippers who are not happy with the composition of this union to desist from acts met to bring disrepute to our great union.We remain committed to representing your very best interest and that we shall do without fear or favour.
