I am trying my hands on some programming language: java and PHP, basically. I want to know if it is possible to develop programs for mobile apps (blackberry, android, symbian or windows) using just PHP. |

Its going to be tough going native with php or other scripts. However, on the web as back end, a lot of apps use it. Like FB apps, Online banking app or SMS/chat apps. |

like lordzouga said, you wont have access to the phone features users will only be able to access it from their browsers like any other mobile site. |
