Ibori nah Bleep up guy. When he should have stayed in Nigeria and enjoy his loot. All EFCC would have only done an 'initial gragra'. After which he would enjoy his loot legally.

Corruption, Ride On Oh.
EFCC will only arrest you, No Big Deal
The Police & EFCC will mess up the prosecution
The Judge will find a loop hole in the mess to release you.
End of Story & Back to Square 1.

Our judicial system, hmmmmm, still very much suspect. Nevertheless, I want to console myself and others who share my pains with what Jesus said in Matt. 24v22: the end of this wickedness is coming to an end soon.

IDIOTS RULES BY FOOOOLS!!!

when the pastor so aptly characterized us with the above--admittedly unflattering--words, we were, true to our proclivity for hypocrisy, so quick to denounce him.

but now, with each passing day, with every news item emitting from this cesspit, with the increasing ferocity with which we so unabashedly cling to our patented dislike for justice and equity, Bakare is being vindicated.

like someone said, Ibori clearly made the mistake of absconding. Igbindedion, Odili, alameisiega and now OGD cases would serve lessons as to would be looters.

nonsense!!  angry angry angry angry angry angry

Our judges are corrupt so we are not practicing democracy by corruptionocracy, A government that will not recognize you if you are not corrupt. In a lawless state like Nigeria, it is even unlawful to be law abiding.

This is one thing I dont get about Nigerians, we dnt kno the details of the case we r already shouting. Fine he stole money, was charged by EFCC to court. He has the CONSTITUTIONAL rights to a FAIR hearing ad FAIR representative in court. And if the prosecution (EFCC) did not do their job well or tender enough or tangible evidence before  the JUDGE, we should they keep him in custody. If EFCC is not satisfied they should appeal the decision, go back and do their assignment very well  and bring  the criminal  to the dock. Cmmon its not today that we have heard high profile cases being dismissed  by judges dues to such issues ( Lack of susbstantial evidence,  not following due process and so many). EFCC should sort its legal department out and its investigative arm out. Get enough and substantial evidence before you charge them to court so as to avoid such things

What do you expect from an inept system that had to wait for UK to convict one of her ex-governors?

All these hullabaloo about sending somebody o Jail for corruption is totally uncalled for, because after euphoria of the arrest of these politically exposed persons, the organ responsible for their prosecution just went to sleep. If a SAN does not know how to file amended charges in Court then I wonder, Who really knows?
