Just for the records,Lenny did send me a mail through the email address i provided on this thread BUT the mail did not have the information i asked for.He only said i should send him my personal email address or phone number.I replied immediately with a personal email and asked again for the parents contacts.Lenny's second mail was he "needs my number cos there are things he wants to discuss with me before sending me baby gracious parents no"

I replied him yet again that whatever he wants to talk should be done by mail.I'm yet to get a response from him since then.

Lenny,what do we need to discuss that can't be discussed via mail?I have just 6 hours or so more to spend in Benin.
If this baby is existing,please can i get the parents contacts?Thank you.

I don't need your phone number for anything other than to explain certain things and also give you the details you asked for through phone. the short version of what I wanted to say on the phone is this, I tried calling the mother of Baby Gracious (Faith) but her husband (Innocent) picked up. I don't know him and have never spoken to him before but he definitely has heard of me from my kid sis or his wife, so I asked him if he knew what we are doing on his daughters behalf and he said yes and did all the thank you, etc  I told him about Stagers (NL)suggestion about Kanu Heart Foundation and he went into this long story about how he had tried that before, etc. Then I told him that a Lady (You) might visit him from Lagos and you might have other good options and suggestions and I would give you their numbers, he was happy to hear that and was okay with it. I also forwarded updates on Money raised so far via email to him. Their numbers are: INNOCENT 080 3095**** FAITH 080 3358****   

You are probably in Benin for the burial of Perx (Her cousin told me they will bury her 9am) Be strong and have a safe journey back up,  Please reply me that you received this and when you return and have rested please write me and update me on how your meet with Innocent and Faith went,  When you call, tell Innocent that you are the lady, Sta*** elder brother (Lenny) told him about.

Are you saying the Yahoo Messages where forged or you are just trying to take the side of your friends? Did you even consider the fact that your Nigerian networks are sometimes not relaiable? Next time find out a bit about people before opening your mouth in public. Maybe it's just that the proponents of action in this case are not getting their points accross accurately.
If 'stagger'' suggested UNTH why won't the family of the patient run down there if thats where they'll get succour?
Asking the person who suggested UNTH to get you contacts doesn't show any seriousness on the part of the patients. If anything im sure parents of a child in need will not hesitate to go to sokoto if that is where their baby might be helped.
It is also quite easy referring from one teaching hospital to the other, letr UBTH refer her straight to UNTH, most specialists in teaching hospitals know each other especially in the same fields. The parents could also ask their consultant in UBTH to refer them to the specialist in UNTH, surely this can't be hard, its just one more letter.
I just hope someone isn't trying to scam people by playing up the health of a child, that will be the lowest of lows.

Thanks for your post, maybe I am not getting my points across like you suggested or maybe people did not read everything I wrote, because one of the post up there explained everything I have to do with this. If you have the time pls go through all my post. I have been online for more than 8yrs, made terrific friends some of them still very close. In real life I know many reputable people in Nigeria and also here and each and everyone of them can vouch for the type of person I am...that was why I took this to Facebook in the first place so I can deal with people directly.I only came here to correct some notions and then it took a different turn. I might be new here but doesn't mean I have to prove myself to everybody before I will be accepted. My name is in the public, it can easily be goggled and everything about me known, so what is there to hide? I am yet to see or meet anybody in real life or online that don't like me or that I don't get along with because of my nature and I wonder why all the hostility here. If you are ready to speak I would gladly speak to you or if you are known here then I would gladly produce everything about myself to you and give you a free hand to judge the type of person I am. I am not one of those faceless people online, I am using my real data and if you read all my post it will take you less that 5mins to pull all my data out of the net. I didn't just depend on people online, at Church a Suriname lady gave 100euros, another gave 5euros while I try to contact different doctors, so I am doing my best while the Parents of Baby GRACIOUS are doing theirs. Until somebody speak to them and have a heart to heart talk with them, you cant truly judge them. Do you want to speak with them? Are there ways you can help? Until you get the parents of this baby to exhaust local options here and it is very clear that the operation cannot be done (which I doubt seriously), then you have no right to ask anyone here to contribute towards your N2million target.

lizzybabe1: Can I just say that the 'Kanu Heart Foundation' route is not as easy as people are saying here. Someone I knew couldn't get the much needed help from them. Though this case has been exposed as a scam, I just felt the need to still give this information for future purposes.
