In what has been a well suppressed history of Nigeria, a former British Colonial officer in the British Colonial administration of Governor General, Sir James Robertson, Harold Smith, now deceased, revealed the spectacularly devious plan by the British colonialists to put a cog in the wheel of progress in Nigeria and ensure that the new nation called Nigeria was perpetually under Northern domination to ensure that Nigeria never lived up to its potentials to threaten Western interests.

In fact, what Mr. Harold Smith found out about the British intention to hand over Nigeria to the Northern oligarchy by hook and ensure their domination of the new nation called Nigeria was so shocking that he was threatened by the then British Governor General of Nigeria, Sir James Robertson, to keep his mouth shut and never repeat what he knew. Furthermore, he was placed on exile from Britain for fear of revealing what he knew.
