Bla bla bla 'renegotiate Nigeria' my arse. Responsibility for security and safety of lives and properties rests on the shoulders of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Is it anyone's fault that you losers voted in an incompetent fellow?

There will be NO 'renegotiation' of Nigeria. Even a re'tard will tell you that there is no traction towards making this happen. You all will stew in this country  just the way it is.

Also, despite what your Pastor tells you, Nigeria is getting WORSE!

^^^Haba!!! Take am easy abeg. Abi you wan give persin heart attack ?

Anybody who thinks there shall be presence of law enforcement agents at anyplace and anytime is a bloody dingbat. Even countries with first class law enforcement apparatus, there are several cases of isolated incidents. Does it mean the president of such a country is incompetent?

Nothing remains forever especially when people involved begin to doubt the mainstay of such entity. Nigeria is living on borrowed time and shall be history soon.

ignorance is bliss! . . . . . .attacks from fulani herdsmen is not isolated to the middle belt alone but to all parts of the country especially kwara and the south western states.
these fulani herdsmen come during the cover of the dark kill and disappear. owing to the fact that they have no known location,retaliation against them is almost impossible!

@sayusuf;
If you happen to visit this page again, I would suggest you read and take note of these facts:
Ordinarily, human beings are tolerant of their fellows' different ways of life which do not harm their own ways of life also. But, newer concepts based on religious views have erected more barriers between fellow humans of various orientations than encouraged free social interaction. If, however, after the Tivs' and other tribes' objections to the imposition of foreign religious values on them, the Fulanis had taken it in good faith, the inherent human tolerance would have remained unaffected to be beneficially exploited among the people of this region, and, indeed, the entire Nigeria.

Nevertheless. Middle Belt leaders like J S Tarka sought to build bridges by spearheading the "One Nigeria" call when he brought an individual from Borno state who contested and won election into the northern parliament under the then Tiv division.Within this period, Tarka, and indeed, the entire Tivs, received raving praises from all across the country for practically demonstrating their inherent altruism. Sadly, this gesture was soon misconstrued by political powers of the core north as an act of fear, or surrender. Tarka was frustrated and had to leave the NPC to form his political party, the United Middle Belt convention, (UMBC) To demonstrate his divorce from the Middle Belt/ Fualni political marriage, the UMBC formed alliance with Obafemi Awolowo's Action group (AG) from the West.

The question is; why did J S Tarka abandon the Northern People's Congress, (NPC) a party he actively participated in its formation? The answer is simple: the religious-cum-political setup of the Fulani/Hausa Islamic north could not, and does not, accommodate independent-minded individuals, one either says yes to the decisions of the Caliphate's power brokers or get out. J S Tarka got out.

During the build-up to the Second Republic, the Middle Belt sought to distance itself further from the Fulani/Hausa Islamic north by embracing political parties other than the metamorphosed NPC, which became NPN. The people of Plateau state voted for NPP, while J S Tarka's attempt to remarry his constituency to the Caliphate divided Tiv votes that could have given overwhelming victory to Paul Unongo's NPP. Well, some said J S Tarka paid with his life for dragging the Tivs back into 'the lion's den' having taken the Swem vow never to align himself with the Caliphate's political/religious structures again. It would be recalled that J S Tarka's departure from the NPC in the 1960s resulted to the Tiv riots, Atem Tyo, which lasted until the military coup of 1966. It was a tragic riot in which the NPC financed and instigated make-shift traditional rulers in Tiv land to fght their kits and kins who had moved en-mass to the UMBC, resulting to wanton destruction of lives and properties.

Elsewhere in the far north, specifically Borno state, the 'Kanuri empire' also sought divorce from the Caliphate by dumping NPN for their own political party, the Great Nigeria People's Party-GNPP. under which Mohammed Goni was elected governor in 1979. So it wasn't the Middle Belt alone that sought severance from the Sokoto Caliphate within the north.
The same set up is still in operation. During the horrible massacre of the Tivs in Nassarawa and Taraba states in 2001/2002 which led to further killings of the Tivs by the Nigerian army, General Gusau, a fulani/hausa man who was the security adviser to obasanjo, hide the real facts and trend of the crisis from the presidency and played on Obasanjo's megalomaniac personality to secure approval for the massacre of hundreds of Tiv men, women and kids by the army in cold-blood; it was a silent pursuit of the same murderous revenge against the Tivs by fulanis.

No tribe in Northern Nigeria has been targeted for elimination the way the Tivs have been. Yet, the likes of JKN Waku would shamelessly read some idiotic scripts written by the Caliphate's leadership accusing President Jonathan of causing the emergence of boko haram in order to breakup the country. Where has Waku been since the resurgence of the fulani war on Tiv as recently as 1989/90; 2001/2002 and 2011 till date?
@sayusuf, I would like to assure you that gradually but certainly the Tiv shall adequately respond to the fulani aggression since the federal govt seemed helpless, and has always over-looked fulani atrocities against farming communities, particularly in central Nigeria. , no doubt about that! If the fulanis refused to abandon the Fula primitive spirit of irresponsible wars, they should be prepared for another round of blood-letting which they are known for, and which had thrown this country into a needless civil war. And, since the fulanis have refused to buy land to establish ranches as is done elsewhere, their quest for capturing lands from farmers through massacres shall soon come to an end! Keep your ears/eyes open for what shall unfold!
