Chelsea will be smarting after being outplayed by West Bromwich last weekend. While the club bounced back with a win against Birmingham in an FA Cup replay in the midweek, Chelsea will need to put away Stoke City at the Bridge this weekend to stay in contention for a place in the top four.


Stoke haven’t beaten Chelsea once in the last ten meetings between these sides, while Chelsea has claimed seven wins and three matches ended in draws. The best result Stoke achieved at the Bridge during this period was a single away draw – and this was achieved in 1984!
