Stop saying 'YES.' That is false information. Before you can become a Nigerian citizen the legal way (not through bribes), you must have lived in Nigeria for so many years. Being married to a Nigerian does not automatically qualify one for citizenship. One must have lived there for many years first as a permanent resident and then one can qualify for citizenship. Even in America, marrying an american does not qualify one for automatic citizenship. One must prove that one lives in america steadily for atleast 3 years to qualify for american citizenship. So, Nigeria is no different but it takes much longer in Nigeria to qualify for ours.

Nigeria and USA are both dual citizenship allowing countries...i held dual citizenship by birth in USA to nigerian and USA parents;and my father holds dual citizenship by birth in Nigeria with marraige to US citizen....Dual citizenship is no problem unless you are employed in certain government forces like military,or other sensitive national security departments..And even so it all depends on which country it is....
