I have and heard cases of adultery and infidelity these days. I am very close to someone who is currently affected and right there some married women pestering my life seriously for a relationship. I got married just recently and I begin to wonder what is happening to our women.

When I was young, the old saying that "the world is changing" ... was true.
But the world keeps changing ... unfortunately I do not know whether for better or worse.
I believe that globally there is a loss of values, moral and ethical concepts that are reflected in all areas of society.

Besides that ... just a thought.
There is some penetration of particular cultures in others. The drawback is that cultural penetration often occurs in people who are not ready (not be worse, but have different culture) to understand certain behaviors ... that sort of thing works by osmosis, by imitation.
In the '60s TV here in South America showed us soldiers killing Indians ... ended up getting used to that ... death is "natural and ordinary" to some but not others.
Is not surprising that human behavior change as well.

People have been marrying the wrong people for the wrong reasons in all ages. Now we get a say on who we want to marry without so much external interference, this should have made marriages stronger.

As ptolemy said, its the continuous moral decline, what used to be totally unacceptable, a taboo, is becoming very acceptable or at the least tolerated. With all the erotic music we hear day in day out, films, porn etc, they are being ingrained in us and seeping in and its shaping our thinking and actions.

I saw an elderly woman in a filling station playing one of 9c song in her car, she got out start singing and rocking to it, very erotic song. I just thought 'wow'. The society is teaching us to accept these things.

All our actions are recorded by angels, it's important to remember that every time.

When I was young, our parents taught us moral rules and respect for others. Today, the vast majority of children grow lacking that support, because both parents work hard.
Children grow up watching on TV an unusual violence and hatred (usually USA). Is not that the nature of African and South American children ... but they grow up seeing violence as natural and everyday. The same goes for computer games ... everything points to make a cult of violence and hatred in that killing, stealing and cheating is natural ..
