Eksu has done it once before about five years ago. This is how it work s since they havn't begin their first semester exam, they will just start a new session from the beginin which they will merge last year intake with dis year intake, they will be receiveing lectures together but the years on their certificate will be different.

o.m.g merging is gonna be like? don't even know what to say do you guys have any idea on what's going on in school.. in my own department we're like 160+160 for the newly admitted that's like 320 now imaging 6 department having lectures together... wow.... well margin will solve a lot of problem ...but mind you it also create a lot of problem class will be like I don't know... you can imagine .. cuz sometimes we wouldn't see a hall to use for lectures

May i ask you peeps praying for this that if you're merged with the current peeps will the classroom accommodate all of you. Dont just spew rubbish on net & think you made contributions. Have you considered the repercussion like for the law students where i heard that only 60 students move to law school and the current are about 160 sp merging you with the current will result to about 250. So how will go to law school? Some will wait for 4years or even more. So erase that away from your mind

@ovie God bless you. Remembered my 100level days when I live Osekita a 10mins walk to the school @ 5:45am for 7am(math 101 and Chm 101) just to sit in front and see the board. Need I tell that still I won't sit in the first four rows and I sometimes wonder if those people do sleep over night in classes. Yet we aren't merge.

I just couldn't pray for my 100level days to be over. Imagine Faculty of Science(11dept or so), Agric(4dept), engr(like 5dept), Education(them plenty like water) and medcine struggling for seat in a hall not to talk of merging.

The result of the merging: Exam that is suppose to take 2 weeks, but because of the limited hall now takes a month will now almost take 2 month. Literally when 100level sciences are writing exam in the school only 400 level due write that day. Those who do write in the lab and LT. Why? : Because of 100 level population where they use the 3000 seaters, another 1050 seaters, another 1500 seaters, another 750 seaters and other halls for a single papers.

those nursing intention on merging and already preparing should better channel their time and resources on another thing.

U jambites shud stop deceiving ur selfs o n who told u d current 100level have not received enough lectures?for ur info,theyv even written tests our exams was suppose to start aug 19th b4 ASUU started d strike.merging hs neva bin done b4 n it can neva happend.so if guys can't wait u bera go to another sch cuz u r in for a long wait cuz if they final year student don't leave u can't get in.shekenah.

Those who are already in d system knw wat am talking abt we av issues wif borrowed courses where some lecturers will refuse to take u in complaining of ur size. Nt to talk of issue of missing scripts. My point is d larger d size d bigger d prob. D present 100 L is larger than oda sets cos of d omission of PT programme while my set was 157 d current hundred level stand arnd 210 plus nt to talk of now adding u guys. GST results is a vry gud example of wat am saying ask those who are in d system

I am a seconder to ur humble opinion.

We have inadequate lecture theatres not to talk of hostels that will also accommodate them. I was habitual of leaving 4 lecture as early as possible with the intent of sitting @ the front seats but still cudnt get a place to seat which made me resort to standing @ d front. That is my gripe which i do bemoan nd highly detest.
We currently in 100level are abt 2500(science students dat offer phy101 which is a gen course) in a hall(ball park estimate) and still strive to grasp what d lecturer offers cos of the outrageous nos of students in d pt hall,rowdiness @ its highest peak if the truth must be said.

So I opine that merging will do more harm dan good which is certainly unpragmatic. So, I suggest we stop pooh poohing what is not.

Oh,now I get the merging stuff,u pple mean the merging of usti+tunedik to unad?if dats the case that's a different case and not admission stuff o.I swear u guys are in for a long wait o,instead of worrying abt ASUU strike u are talking abt merging.the fact is if the final students don't graduate u pple aint coming in.I can't wait to leave the sch o,God help me and my collegues.

EKSU accepts candidates with ND in Electrical Engineering(Upper Credit) and HND(lower credit) in Electrical Engineering.
