On your avits appointment page, click update document delivery, select premium and then for the location, select DHL Akure. I believe the premium service cost about 58k.

Kindly assist on the next step to take. I have a B1/B2 interview later around mid Febriary 2025 and , after interview I wish to retrieve my passport from the AKURE, ondo state centre. Please how do I go about it? or what are the processes or other alternatives?

All you need to do is fill a new ds form 160 with your current information, eg conference date, travel date , accomodation etc and upon successful submission, take both old and new ds form 160 to your visa interview. If you want to reschedule, make sure you finished rescheduling before filling a new ds 160 so that the information in the new ds 160 will entail your most current info.

The edit or update option is not yet available on the new avits portal and i don't think it is going to be available again.

Kindly guide me on the steps to take.

I was to attend a conference in 2024 but the DS-160 B1/B2 visa interview date I got was February 2025 on the defunct portal.
I have now applied for another 2025 conference.
I already log on to the new portal successfully but I don’t know how to edit or update my details to reflect new conference realities and other changes.
For instance, I would have to erase the former conference details, contacts, city, dates, etc and fill in the new conference details. I seems not to find those menus on the new site or I don’t know how to navigate all that steps.
FACT is: My previous allotted visa interview date is still captured on the new portal. I seems not to be able to sight any of my records tho. But there is button for rescheduling

Hello everyone. Kindly assist.
I submitted My B1 visa application MID Dec 2023, and was on the look out to be placed on visa interview appointment.
My intended conference participation is billed for march 2024.
The dashboard to pick available dates keeps displaying available interview dates and slots beginning from Jan 2025.
I kept checking up for a possible reversal of dates, but noticed the dates keeps going forward. January 2025 slots got completely filled, and moved into February 2025.
I had to pick a date in February 2025. Meanwhile its not valid for my intended trip.
Someone told me I should have waited for 10days after applying for interview schedule before finally picking up a date. How true is that?
Are there any options on the dashboard I can get to reschedule my interview dates to 2024 dates favourable to my intention.
