Before you go into any business, it is usually advised that you place the interest of the customer first because "customer is king", right? I don't dispute that. Serve your customer relentlessly and shelf your personal interest at the initial stage. But if in the long run, there's nothing in the deal for you or there is no concrete strategy in place whereby your selfless service to your customer eventually translates into profit, then your business is in for an imminent shutdown. Unless it's a Charity or an NGO, no business can survive for long without tangible profits. That may your source of motivation to do more. Last time I checked, Mark Zuckerberg was on Forbes's list as the 5th Richest man in the world with a net worth of US$71.5 Billion - of course, he still is. How did he start? He discovered a problem and he set forward to solve it, even when it meant dropping out of Harvard in his sophomore year. His one and only DREAM was to make the world a global community, to connect and unite people and enhance communication across ethnic and geophysical barriers. By realising that dream he was able to set up an everlasting pipeline of wealth via the social media giant - Facebook. What problems can you spot around you or in your society?
