One thing you guys don't know is that nigeria has abundant natural resources. This guys might has been making millions in nigeria. Plz we should find out the type of business this guys are doing and may be our ppl will fill that slot when they have gone. But i want them to be dealt with in such a way that the british govt will recognised growing power from the west african state. In my own opinion, i wish the news will be spread world wide in such a way that the world will see that there is still some good things that made these guys to forge visa and business permit. Nigeria is growing

This is simply a case of an ordinary british citizen, looking to make money. And saw Nigeria as an easy way; part of Globalization.
Thing is, it aint just Nigeria that's a target. Other African countries too, that value foreigners more than their nationals (with good reasons) are. They are after the trickle of u lots oil money, when they get it, they siphon it all back home (early foundations of empire aka Buccaneers).
What we have here is probably a case of guys not wanting to go through the hoops n all of getting the VISAS or they probably have criminal records back home and see a nice way of making money here n all.
This shouldn't be a "swollen headed" moment for y'all still. Instead, early indication of things to come.

It is never a surprise to know about thrashing of Nigerians. They are notoriously awful in character and conduct. Many of these Africans who are coming to India for studies are found be drug racketeering or smuggling activities. Govt of India should verify their background before issuing visa

Food becomes a major issue for the prison officials. Last year, a Nigerian national had tried to hang self using his clothes as noose at Sabarmati central jail. The prison officials however prevented the incident and resolved the issue with rational supply of eggs and fruits.

"Out of the lot, we find Nigerian nationals a bit violent and not ready to adhere to the rules. In this particular incident, a Nigerian national who was caught without documents by Ahmedabad rural police last year, wanted to have chicken. We refused repeatedly. He then started demanding freedom and asked us to open the cell. We told him to wait till the next day. When a guard went near the cell, he assaulted him and nearly choked him," narrates a senior prison official.

See how your brother started World War 4 over simple rooster! LOL. You people are too much.

In Saudi, they behead your brothers like it was an Olympic sport.Qorbi bin Mussa Adam, who was convicted of murdering a Saudi national, was the second Nigerian to be executed in Saudi Arabia this year. The other Nigerian, Jamil ‘Abbas Shu’ayb, was beheaded in May.

In both cases, the Saudi Arabian authorities have disclosed very little information about their trials but Amnesty International said that these are likely to have been held in secret and to have been summary, as in the case of Suliman Olyfemi, another Nigerian who remains at imminent risk of execution in Saudi Arabia. He was sentenced to death in 2004.

Suliman Olyfemi’s trial was held in secret and conducted in Arabic, which he does not understand, without adequate interpretation facilities. He had no legal representation or any legal assistance.

It is feared that he was tortured while held incommunicado in pre-trial detention to force him to “confess”.
