^^^^ You are very right, but this is not just peculiar to QX4, it affects the Pathfinders as well, however, According to Nissan and NHTSA, the recalled Pathfinders and QX4s were originally sold in: Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin. This particular one was from Canada and like you have mentioned, proper inspection is the key and to make sure it is well maintained, also, most of the owners in Canada do rust proof the rides, cos they are aware that Nissan and Infiniti Product often suffers from rust. We are getting paid cos we are on ground and making sure that the rides are well inspected before we commit you hard earned money into a ride . . . we are not sitting down in Nigeria sending your money down to some middle man, we do the job ourself. |

That MUST have been done in the western world, to be honest with YOU, i have no idea if it is being done in Nigeria. And once the ride has been in Nigeria, i dont think you have much to worry about, cos the rust is not really caused by the rain, but by the SALT that is used to prevent slippery roads cos of snow in USA and Canada |
