Job Objective
The VAS/IN Support Engineer is responsible for administering the company value added services and intelligence network program in accordance with customer and company requirements and NCC standards.

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions
• Prepaid billing and administration systems.
• Development and support of network monitoring and performance tools.
• Operation and support of VAS and IN Services.
• Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability and safety.
• Development of new network services and applications.


Work Location
Lagos

Essential Skills/Experience:
• 1–2 years hands on experience in database management or related field.
• Relevant training in Operating Systems, Database Management with good knowledge of SQL, programming and internet technologies.
• Hands on experience in operations and support of enterprise / network systems and services.
• Application development using common programming language and technologies.
• Software development and software solutions.
• A good knowledge of UNIX, PERL, and SCRIPTING will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills.


Educational Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Communications Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of Second Class Lower degree.
